Goal #1: Sandy Elementary School will increase student’s language arts proficiency across all subgroups by 20112, as measured by AYP proficiency or safe harbor (decrease non-proficient students by 10%), by implementing organizational strategies that enable administration and staff to support a mission and vision that supports high expectations for all students.
1.1. Sandy Elementary school will systematically continue to have grade level professional learning communities based upon the DuFour Model
1.2. Sandy Elementary School will align curriculum, instruction and assessment for all core areas.
1.3. Sandy Elementary will increase communication strategies with all Stakeholders.
1.5. Sandy Elementary will support at-risk families by providing family education opportunities and researching implementation of family support services.
