- Begin discussing TSSP and Land trust plans for next year
The SCC will consider keeping next year’s goals similar to the goals from this current year in an effort to allow for successful implementation- noting the length of time it took to hire all the interventionists. It was acknowledged that Title I monies change from year to year.
6.Discuss Child Access Routing Plan
SCC reviewed the current SNAP plan. The request to make the Pioneer intersection safer will be submitted, the other two requests from the previous years will be removed. Requests to be removed:
- Signage posted at the intersection of 8760 South between 400 East and 420 East to display “Pick-Up and Drop-Off Zone ONLY between 8 am- 8:30 am and 2:45 pm- 3:15 pm.”
- A designated turning light at the intersection of 300 East and 9000 South.
The request to remain: A crossing guard at the intersection of Pioneer and 300 East. This intersection is not a 4-way stop and many Sandy Elementary students cross at this intersection.
7.Assure SCC roster on website and state site is accurate
Members of the SCC will log onto the school website and make sure their email addresses are correct.

Last year’s LAND Trust Plan was reviewed. Data will be added by Shawn Walker and submitted.
10. Teacher of the Year applications are now being accepted. It’s an online process this year via the District website.
