- Discussion and Presentation: Digital Citizenship and School Safety Plan – Digital Citizenship Rep, Assistant Principal: Sandy will have a Digital Citizenship Safety week in October sponsored by the District. Safety measures already in place: Teachers have access to the LanSchool Program where they can see from their computer what each student is look at on their computer.
- The District Firewall has increased in strength
- A warning is automaticcaly sent to Admin as well as parent when a student accesses a site they should not be accessing.
- Thrive Time: Digital Citizenship lessons are built in to the curriculum
- AI is discussed in Library
- Subs are encouraged to monitor screens very closely
- VP will present Digital Citizenship and School Safety Plan to the SCC on Dec.1st, 2026.
- Presentation: Safe Walking Routes – Isa Connelly: Isa spoke with the construction site boss and safe walking route will be distrubed for a total of 2 days when concrete is poured-otherwise, students and community has fill access to walk through at the construction site. Safety Walking Routes have been approved by SCC.
Member/ Community Concerns and Comments: Concerns over parking lot procedures. Principal will make a new video to share with parents.
