Holiday Donations

Every year, the Canyons Community Schools engage with community partners to support the needs of

our families for the holiday season. Due to the challenges of COVID-19, including limiting social

gatherings and physical distancing, unfortunately we are limited in what we can collect and provide to

families. Although we are disappointed that we are not able to bring community partners and families

together this year for our typical holiday support, we also want to ensure that we are contributing to

keeping families and the communities as safe as possible.

Based on these barriers, we are approaching our holiday season support differently this year. We are

asking the community for monetary donations or in-kind donations in the form of gift cards and other

most requested items. These donations will be collected and then distributed to families in need at

Copperview Elementary, East Midvale Elementary, Midvale Elementary, Midvalley Elementary, Sandy

Elementary, Midvale Middle School, Union Middle School, Mt. Jordan Middle School, Hillcrest High

and Diamond Ridge High. All donations are tax-deductible and a contribution form will be provided at

your request. We would like to receive donations by Dec. 10th, 2021 so that we can process and

provide to families prior to the holidays. Our goal is to provide support for 850 students within

approximately 300 families.

The Canyons Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and should your company require, the Canyons

Education Foundation’s Federal Tax ID Number is 45-2603900.
