Every year, Superintendent Robbins awards one student per school with a special Canyons District SUPERINTENDENT’S AWARD, who has exemplified hard work, friendship, persistence, and resiliency. This year, Sandy Elementary’s recipient was Ali Tallal in Mrs. Murphey’s 5th Grade class. Ali is an all-around great student and a great example to our Sandy Sharks. He is a dedicated member of student council and takes his job very seriously. Ali enjoys looking for ways to help around the school without being asked. He is also very compassionate to his fellow classmates and he is a great friend, especially to those who feel alone. We are so lucky to have Ali at Sandy Elementary. Way to Go, Ali!!! SHARK IT!!!
