CLASS ASSIGNMENTS FOR 2012-2013

Sandy Elementary strives to balance classes – equal numbers of boys and girls and
equal numbers of students needing acceleration and those needing more supports for 
learning or behaviors.  Teacher’s certifications are also a consideration (ESL, Reading, Gifted, etc.) 

In regards to the needs of the children requests for specific teachers cannot be honored.
If you have a concern about the placement of your child, please make an appointment with an administrator to address your child’s specific needs.

Sandy Elementary se esfuerza por establecer un ambiente de aprendizaje positivo para todos los niños.  Los estudiantes son cuidadosamente ubicados en esfuerzo de crear clases equilibradas,
esto es: con números iguales de niños y niñas, estudiantes que necesitan aceleración y los que necesitan apoyos adicionales de aprendizaje o comportamiento.  Las certificaciones del maestro también se consideran (ESL, Lectura, Superdotado, etc.) al ubicar los estudiantes.

Para mantener las clases equilibradas, las preferencias de padres por un maestro específico no son reconocidas.  Sin embargo, los padres que tienen preocupaciones concernientes en la ubicación de su hijo/a pueden hacer una cita con un administrador para atender las necesidades especiales del estudiante.
