- Welcome and call meeting to order
- Approval of minutes from our last meeting: Minutes from last meeting reviewed and approved.
- Finalize elections for new SCC members in the fall

- Deadline to submit interest/nomination is Monday 8/21/23 at 5:00pm

- If there are more nominations than open seats voting will take place from 8/22 to 8/24. Votes will be counted on 8/25 and new members appointed at that time. – Approved by SCC

- Present end of year data (what we have available) and progress towards goals: Acadience has been inactive. No data to present at this time because we do not have access to it. Shawn will compile data and send it out to the school population when system becomes active again.
- Explain how we will publicize our results to school community members and legislators: Shawn explained how the information disseminates to the city mayor, state leadership, and elected officials. A letter constructed by Shawn is sent to the afore mentioned. We also send the information out to our community through social media, Newsletters, and Parent Square.
- Discuss the end of year carnival: We have discussed all of the details and we are ready to go for Monday.
- Closing: Shawn reviewed with the SCC the general changes that will go into effect in the Fall regarding morning routines and breakfast. Breakfast will be distributed from the cafeteria to each student who wants it. Students will pick what they want and wait to eat the items until they are seated in their classrooms. Changes and details still being discussed. We intend to use the time wisely: assemblies, Thrive Time, Scholarly Recital, Pledge, etc.

- Next Fall first SCC meeting: August 31, 2023 – then a schedule of meetings for the rest of the year will be decided upon.
